Christmas is about to fail

Martin Snowstorm has the best job ever, working as Santa in the toy department of a large store. Sadly, because folk are buying their presents online, the store is in trouble and may have to close.

Martin is very sad to hear this. He has no friends or family, and he knows that if he loses his job, then he will be very lonely.

On his way home, he bumps into an elderly gentleman pulling an old red case. He tells Martin that Santa has sent him. He knows that the store is in danger and also that Christmas might fail. Martin isn’t quite sure what this means but he guesses that it doesn’t sound good.

The mysterious elderly chap shows him how the old red suitcase can help him to save the store and also Christmas.

Martin accepts the case, thanks the stranger and now cannot wait for the store to open the following day, sensing that a great Christmas adventure is about to begin – all thanks to the Magic Suitcase.

"Rudolph was an old and wise reindeer. He glanced up at the infinity of the black sky and could only think what a fuss Santa was making. He knew that it was time. He gave a massive leap forwards and the other reindeers followed his lead. The sleigh gathered speed, the crowd gasped again and again; it went so fast that folk could barely keep it in view as it bent space and slowed time. Santa gave a final wave to the crowd who were now silenced in awe while the magic sleigh cruised effortlessly at unimaginable speed into the night and another Christmas Eve began across the world."
